Privacy Policy

Streak Money is a daily money-challenge app. In this Privacy Policy "we" and "us" refer to the developer of Streak Money. This document explains what information the app handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language; if a section feels unclear, email us at minhquangmax@gmail.com and we'll explain.
1. The short version
- Your financial details stay on your phone. Income, fixed costs, daily spend cap, streak history, and any amount you log are stored locally in the app and never leave your device.
- The only off-device data is anonymous diagnostics and analytics. We use Firebase to count things like "paywall viewed" or "tab switched", and Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports. None of it is linked to your name, email, or device advertising identifier.
- No advertising tracking. Streak Money does not request permission to track you, does not include the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA), and does not share data with ad networks.
- Purchases go through Apple and RevenueCat. When you start a free trial or subscribe, Apple processes payment; RevenueCat verifies the receipt on our behalf so you keep Pro access across devices.
2. Information processed by Streak Money
2.1 Stored only on your device (never sent anywhere)
- Monthly income (entered during onboarding)
- Monthly fixed costs
- Country and currency selection
- Daily spend cap generated by the in-app algorithm
- Yes/No daily answer, overspend amounts, streak count, calendar history
- Reminder time preference, language override, vacation-mode usage
This information is held in the iOS-managed app sandbox (SwiftData). It is wiped automatically when you uninstall the app or tap Settings → Sign out & erase all local data.
2.2 Sent to Firebase (Google) for diagnostics and analytics
- Anonymous product-interaction events — e.g. when a paywall is
shown, when a tab switches, when a vacation is started. The
parameters we attach are always coarse and bucketed (for example
overspend_bucket: "5-15", never the raw amount). - Anonymous cohort dimensions — country code, currency, app language, days-since-install, current-streak bucket. These are bucketed and tied only to a Firebase-generated random ID.
- Crash data and basic performance signals — stack traces from unexpected crashes plus session start / launch duration so we can prioritise bug fixes.
Firebase is configured without the iOS advertising-identifier
support framework (FirebaseAnalyticsWithoutAdIdSupport), so the
IDFA is never read or transmitted.
2.3 Sent to RevenueCat for purchase validation
- The Apple App Store transaction ID, product identifier, purchase /
expiration timestamps, and a RevenueCat-generated random user ID
("App User ID"). This is used to:
- Verify your active subscription on each device sign-in;
- Restore purchases when you reinstall;
- Detect refunds initiated through Apple.
We do not learn the credit card number, billing name, or country — that part stays inside Apple's payment system.
2.4 Apple App Store
When you buy a subscription or one-time purchase, Apple processes the payment and sends us a transaction record. Apple's own privacy practices apply to that data. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
3. Why we process this data

We do not use any of this data to build advertising profiles, target ads, sell to data brokers, or train AI models outside Streak Money.
4. Sharing and third parties
We share the limited categories above with the following processors, all bound by their own privacy commitments:
- Google LLC — Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat, Inc. — subscription validation. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- Apple Inc. — App Store purchases, push delivery of local notifications. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
5. Retention

6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the data we process about you;
- Correct inaccurate data;
- Delete data;
- Object to or restrict processing;
- Receive a copy in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent (where consent is the legal basis).
Because most of your data never leaves your device, the simplest way to exercise these rights is to tap Settings → Sign out & erase all local data or uninstall Streak Money. For Firebase / RevenueCat records, email us at minhquangmax@gmail.com with the purchase transaction ID (if any) so we can identify the relevant records.
European Union and UK residents: you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sales" or "sharing". Streak Money does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
7. Children
Streak Money is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian who believes your child has used the app, contact us and we will delete any associated records.
8. International transfers
The Firebase and RevenueCat processors above operate primarily in the United States. By using Streak Money, you understand that anonymous diagnostic data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where these vendors operate. We rely on each processor's published transfer mechanisms (such as standard contractual clauses) to safeguard that data.
9. Security
We rely on platform safeguards (iOS app sandbox, Keychain for any credentials we ever store, HTTPS in transit) and our processors' infrastructure security. No system is perfect — if a security incident affecting your data ever occurs, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
10. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top, and for material changes we'll surface a notice inside the app before the change takes effect.
